What you see on this page are complete immersive panoramic images that I shot. Placed in a spherical container, you get a full 360x180 view of the world in which I was standing at the time I took the picture.
How did I do this? Using my 8mm Rokinon fisheye lens and standing in one location, I took a series of photos and spliced them together.
Why do this manually when there are a plethora of smartphones that do all this automatically? Because unlike the smartphone panos, the ones I shoot are super hi-res and accurate. This allows me to make nifty motion graphics like this!
